This weekend, faculty and students represented SU at a Robotics Competition in Westminster, Maryland.  In addition to competing, middle and high school students were able to learn more about the School of the Sciences at Stevenson.

Blizzard 2010

SU was pounded with record breaking snowfalls and winds over the last two weeks.  All classes and activities were shut down for more than a week.  The large amounts of snow can be seen in the picture above.

On Friday, freshmen students participated in the annual Lego building challenge.  Freshmen were charged with incorporating one of more elements of Career Architecture into a Lego creation.  Each Freshmen Seminar Team did a great job and a good time was had by all.

Football at Stevenson!

Students, faculty and administrators attended a news conference today as President Manning announced the appointment of Ed Hottle as head coach of our new NCAA Division III football program.  There was plenty of cheering about this new exciting development at Stevenson!  Expect to see a lot of SU football regalia on campus!

Hundreds of students, faculty and staff welcomed Jean-Michel Cousteau to campus.  Mr. Cousteau delivered a strong message of environmental awareness and the necessity of conservation and care for the environment.  Mr. Cousteau was on campus en route to his evening talk downtown as part of the Baltimore Speakers Series.
